The Opportunity
As our fellowship-trained glaucoma surgeon, you will:
- Manage a diverse, high-volume glaucoma practice encompassing medical, laser, and surgical care
- Perform the full spectrum of glaucoma procedures, including iDose, MIGS, trabeculectomy and tube shunt surgery
- Collaborate with our cataract surgery teams on routine and complex co-management cases, including access to our LENSAR Ally robotic laser system for premium cataract surgery, Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) technology, Optos ultra-widefield retinal imaging and state of the art diagnostic equipment.
- Contribute to practice-wide quality improvement initiatives and have a voice in adopting emerging technologies
- Serve patients from Tyler and across the broader East Texas region who are seeking subspecialty expertise
Candidate Qualifications
- MD or DO with successful completion of an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency
- Completion of a fellowship in glaucoma from an accredited program
- Board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology
- Eligible for Texas medical licensure
- Strong surgical skills and a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Collaborative spirit and genuine enthusiasm for being part of a growing, innovative practice
